Oh also the pilot for Infinity Train.The animation changed and got better but the script was practically the same when it was reworked as an official episode.

Examples of good pilots for reference .Breaking bad pilot, Gravity falls pilot, gumball pilot.For the animated ones, you can see the art style has changed in the final version, but the writing is STILL GOOD.

The pilot is THE MAKE OR BREAK when you pitch an idea. ITS IMPORTANT, ITS YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD. you should be on draft 5000 by the time you finalize your pilot episode.

I wanna point out that my opinion is totally based on the writing. The animation, designs, backgrounds, voice acting and art are all pretty good. Also the music was cool . But the WRITING really brings everything down with it.

Do people think “pilot” means “first draft”?. It doesn’t.
