Today, we were delighted to hear from Ms. Lucy Nakyobe, Head of Public Service, who encouraged Local Government Accounting Officers to go beyond routine duties and initiate development initiatives that address community concerns.
Our last quarterly meeting of the Financial Year 2024/5 is ongoing, focusing on emerging issues & their implications on service delivery in local governments .It brings together Chief Administrative Officers from 135 districts and Town Clerks from 10 cities & 31 municipalities.
