Apac became a District in 1974 and is located in Northern Uganda & at approximate distance of 250km from Kampala Capital city. Apac is structured with a Municipality, 8 Sub Counties & Town Councils, 54 Parishes, 376 Villages with a population of 282,465 and 54,752 Households.
