No surprises here. It was clear from the start that it was going to end this way, and yet they made us play a fictional "trial" format for more than 7 months. This was by far the worst mishandling of the format since the 2021 storm summer. At least the article is well-written.

Notably, the next B&R update of February 9 is in the middle of the next Standard RCQ season. I appreciate how this allows flexibility to respond relatively quickly if the metagame ends up in a severely imbalanced state again.

They wouldn't ban Survival in 2025. They could safely unban Splinter Twin seven years ago. Most of the banned cards in all formats, be it 2019 huge design mistakes or combo winter staples, are not even good anymore. Set them free, you chickens.

Time Warp is the first non-showcase Riftbound card to be reselling for over $100. Remember, there will be more product. I would imagine the prices coming down significantly… The hype is real and the demand is crazy right now 🤯

My vote for a Modern unban that serves no purpose, is probably a net-negative to the format, but good lord would I love to play this in Mill again :)

The responses to this are the perfect example of why media literacy is failing Y'all fighting like it's 60-card vs. 100-card when it's literally Toxic vs. Fun and both 60/100 card players can exist on either side of that The toxic bunch in each group are the problem
