The token is an ERC1155 with a catch: Chonk's TBA addresses can only hold one Birthday Suits token and when they're transferred to a TBA it becomes soulbound. My hope is that over the years Chonk holders will seek out Birthday Suits tokens to "complete" their Chonks.

We sure have made a mess of the wallet landscape. I'd love to be able to: if(window.ethereum) { const accounts = await window.ethereum.request({ method: "eth_requestAccounts", }); } and have the wallets make that work instead of having to have reown as a middleware.

Etherscan API verification failed? In the old days this meant flattening your files and praying that you simulate your environment well enough to satisfy Etherscan. Now though with AI we can umm do the same thing but with copy pasting console output into a sidebar in our IDEs.

While this is pretty cringe, you have to remember that crypto is a platform where anyone can build whatever they want. This is like saying in 1996 that rotten dot com wasn't good for mass adoption of the internet.
