Really cool difference in the new @basepaint_xyz Subscription contract vs our old BasePaint Bot. It mints you placeholder tokens for each day into the future and the mintBasePaints function burns the placeholder to replace it with the minting canvas. Nice work @0xNader

If I had to sum it up based on my current mental map, the open internet created space and permission for diversity to flourish . All pendulums swing back and a more closed, more siloed internet reacted to that proliferation in diversity.

I’m becoming increasingly interested in the shift in art and that happened in ~2013-2020. A few conditions of this shift:. - the global saturation of smart phones + algos everywhere. - the rise of the very online right . - the extreme policing of language and symbols.
