I visited the brilliant @MediCinema charity in 2018. They build & run cinemas in hospitals which accommodate wheelchairs & beds. It really helps patients feel less isolated, get away from the wards, do something a bit normal & watch a film.

In 2022 #MediCinema attendees increased by 171% compared to 2021 🙌 While some cinemas could only host personal or socially distanced screenings due to Covid, by the end of 2022 all our sites were back to running regular screenings. Thank you to everyone made this happen 🌈

We have six MediCinemas which are located in health facilities throughout the UK. Through these we run 21 screenings a week, and in 2017 we delivered 23,700 cinema experiences to patients and their families. By 2025 we plan to double the number of MediCinema sites❤️.#ukcharity
