4/ A few things stood out: • Designers wanted more — these new AI and coding skills unlocked huge creative energy. • It was both easy and hard — fast to get started, but hard to perfect. • We built empathy with developers — several designers even made their first GitHub PRs.

3/ What happened next surprised us. The room was buzzing within the first hour. Designers dove into code, built web apps, debugged together, and it was hard to get them to stop for dinner. On day two the designer kept on going and started building their own iOS apps.

2/ We’ve run many design days before, but this time we went all in: 100% hands-on. No slides, no inspiration talks, just building. Cursor, Xcode, Vercel, Supabase, GitHub, and Figma MCP servers were our playground. We were a bit nervous planning it. Would it be too technical?

The screen quality was beyond what I expected, no problem reading or working. It’s unreal how everything seems to be real. Windows, texts and objects just seem like they are part of the environment. Zero jittering or anything. It’s remarkable.
