I am happy to share the preprint describing my PhD work on developing a new system for peptide-mediated inducible protein depletion in E. coli 🦠.
A pioneering adventure by @MatyldaIzert - the first way to do protein knockdown in E.coli! Of unmodified, degronless targets😍Using just simple expression from a plasmid encoding a fusion peptide - "CLIPPER" acting as BacPROTAC. Even tough GroEL went down💪

Today I have successfully defended my thesis and closed my PhD student era at the University of Warsaw. I'm very grateful to my supervisor @m_gorna who has guided and supported me for the last 5 years of my journey and I am excited for my future scientific adventures.
