Excited to share our latest work on single image and video compression to appear at #cvpr2024. For details see the quoted 🧵.
We build neural codecs from a *single* image or video, achieving compression performance close to SOTA models trained on large datasets, while requiring ~100x fewer FLOPs for decoding âš¡ #CVPR2024.

Great thread by @a1mmer about our #NeurIPS2021 paper on using the Laplace approximation in Bayesian deep learning. It is simple and efficient yet works very well. With the paper we release a pytorch package to bring Laplace approximations to your model. 1/3.
In our #NeurIPS2021 paper (, we introduce laplace-torch for effortless Bayesian deep learning. Despite their simplicity, we find that Laplace approximations are surprisingly competitive with more popular approaches.
