Together, we hope the article offers a rich understanding of the repertoire of sentiments and historical themes the far right draws on in its public (re)interpretation of history.

Our collocation and qualitative analyses reveal the nuanced ways in which far-right speakers affirm and disavow various collective memory traditions. These findings illustrate the nuanced and complex way the far right challenges established political norms.

In contrast to what we expected, far-right speakers don't talk about history significantly more often than speakers by other parties. Their language, however, is distinctly less negative when speaking about history compared to the far right's general political language.

📢Really excited to see our paper out OA in @BJPolS. Using an integrated mixed-methods approach to analyze parl speeches in 🇩🇪, we investigate how frequently the far right attacks prevailing historical interpretations and what characterizes these attacks' sentiment & content.
