SAUDI ARAMCO takes on more debt to cover its dividend as free cash flow was insufficient (again) in 2Q despite realized oil prices of ~$67 a barrel (and very strong total production). The Saudi giant reported adj net income ~$24.5 billion, slightly below expectations. #OOTT

Amazing. The legal system is a big part of what makes this possible. And trustworthy financial markets. Even with all the imperfections. We take a lot for granted.
Sometimes you gotta step back and just look in awe at what the American Oil and Gas industry is capable of. Permian Basin Stats.- 250+ companies.- $500 billion invested.- 50,000 wells.- Made the US the #1 oil producer. There's no other country on earth that could achieve this.
