I was a waitress at a local restaurant on the North Shore in my 20s. Servers work hard and deserve to be well-compensated. Maura and I join them in opposing Question 5 because we believe it will lower their compensation and hurt small businesses.
As a former waitress who knows what it's like to rely on tips, I know how hard our servers work and believe they deserve to be well-compensated for all they do. I will be joining servers, bartenders, and small business owners to vote No on 5.
