In #SOTU2023, @POTUS stressed the importance of protecting kids online. @CenDemTech agrees – but policymakers must ensure that trying to protect children + students online doesn’t inadvertently cause harm or block their access to critical information.

AEDTs are terrible for workers and can expose employers to significant legal risk, not to mention causing them to miss out on good potential hires. This area is ripe for regulation, but unfortunately NYC's law is super weak and keeps getting worse. https://t.co/SeF2qQEyKy

Important and timely intervention from @EU_EDPS. Human rights cannot be suspended at our borders. People on the move are more vulnerable & actually need additional protections. Will be vital point to get right in the #aiact https://t.co/WdlmV3rzfC

Horrifying new *opt-out* default for @Delta flights at JFK is facial recognition for boarding. No privacy policy, they block ticket scanners to try and force you to use it, and no clue where they get the facial image data from. Welcome to the panopticon 👁️
