@JialinLiuSKP developed a new cell-cell communication approach for spatial RNA data: predicting positions of LR protein-protein interactions. TL;DR: we can infer spatial gradients of signaling, signaling-associated DE genes, and signaling velocity 🧵 https://t.co/HdBp5VE6jX

E. coli engineered to become stem cells that differentiate! We prevent take-over by mutant stem cells that only self renew - by linking differentiation to an essential function. A new way to engineer stable microbial communities. https://t.co/GW9XXWNYVg
