Summer never ended like flipping a switch. It bled out slowly like a gunshot wound. Doc had seen almost 50 of them. Summers, not gunshots. Though he’d seen a few of those too. What an opening, @ScottMacLe59594!

Thanks to @UnderbellyPress for giving a home to this story, a tribute to my dad. A lot of the details aren't him, but he was a City fan and he did die in 2023, just before City won the Champions League. I can't imagine a better place for this story to have landed🍂
