Feels like a pretty good summary of the situation at the moment: several possible outcomes which could be better than the status quo, but it isn’t clear how far the fundamental problems have shifted.

Useful explanation of what the 'CSOC' will do - but it is even less clear why that name has been chosen, as it is clearly responsible for far more than just specialist operations. .
We're redefining our Command, reinforcing our priorities across cyber, intelligence, medical, ops support, education & more. Changing our name to Cyber & Specialist Operations Command (CSOC) to better reflect our mission, adopting this from Sept '25.

. rather than clarifying, in that it implies that StratCom only does specialist operations, whereas its remit is broad and it presumably still includes PJHQ? I suppose worth seeing how these shake out in due course.
