All the while, the token founders squeezed out 100s of $Millions, if not $Billions, and are building something real with that money (Tech businesses, Entertainment studios, Web3 businesses, Etc.).

The $USD goes to fund the token founders lifestyles, their other businesses (like Yuga Labs), and to pay VC an early return. The $APE retail token owners only own tokens, the retail token buyers are hoping on a prayer that the $APE token community keeps the value up.

Example. Think about it—when retail buyers started purchasing #ApeCoin / $APE, the token value went up. The token founders and VCs who were GIVEN substantial tokens, and benefited by selling through planned liquidation events, $APE to $USD.

Especially in Web3, if companies are legally established outside the USA, you’re at greater risk of being scammed. Offshore companies control your assets in jurisdictions where you can’t touch them. This is not a new scam. DYOR.
