This is a great approach to simple prostate. Thank you for sharing @mdstifelman! It's a collection of many excellent techniques: not dropping the bladder, clips to retract bladder edges, opening the adenoma midline to find the apex, closing the defect and more.

I agree with @mdstifelman and @RoboticsUrology. Robotic cystectomy has a bright future. OR times are faster than before and with intracorporeal bowel work, there is less manipulation of bowel and mesentery and potentially faster recovery. Hopefully our SP data will be out soon!.
Respectively disagree. We are forging forward. Our total OR times approaching 4 hours. Now exploring single port and all the bowel work done through vagina. Data forthcoming @RoboticsUrology @HackensackUMC.

The IVC thrombectomy was MP. We opened the IVC and did vascular graft completely robotic. Will put out a video at some point and share.

Just finished my last rotation at Hackensack. Covid caused major changes but but still was lucky to operate with the single port robot and did some robotic IVC thrombectomy. Great experience and great training. Thanks to @RoboticsUrology and @mdstifelman

Hackensack is truly on the cutting edge of kidney cancer care. As a trainee here I witness the genuine and excellent care provided by @RoboticsUrology and @mdstifelman.
March is the #kidneycancer awareness month. We @HackensackUMC and NJU treat one of the highest number of kidney cancer patients with most innovative and successful ways, most patient can just have their tumor removed robotically and save the normal kidney.

This definitely could be a double edged sword. It also doesn't fix the issues with using step 1 as a weeding tool. Now residency programs will just shift their attention to step 2 CK as the new weeding tool for residencies.
Step 1 #USMLE becoming P/F year 2022. Could be double edge sword.

Great experience sitting on the DaVinci SP robot. Thanks to Hackensack and @RoboticsUrology for making this experience possible. It is a tough learning curve but it is cutting edge technology. Look forward to sitting again. @mdstifelman.
