There are subtleties of doing a good RGP before redo pyeloplasty. Low vs high pressure contrast injection tells me there is a decent (but obstructed) lumen that I may not need to re-dismember. ICG: good vascularity. A generous posterior Henike Mikulicz to pelvis=great solution!

Seeing the industry exhibits at SRS was enlightening. We are truly on the cusp of multiple robotic systems being choices. Trans-oceanic telesurgery has already begun. It has already started globally but less so in the US due to IP and regulatory issues. The future is on us now.

Embarking on a new chapter of my professional life. Sad to leave my partners and the residents at Temple University after 13 amazing years. I’ve now moved across town to Thomas Jefferson University. I wanted to remember my first case with my new residents @EinsteinUrology!

Sometimes, instead of injecting a large amount of contrast retrogradely, a gentle flank massage is all it takes to help the contrast evenly distribute throughout the renal collecting system. #PCNL #contrast Ps: patient consented for publication
