Maybe my last post here? ---> Follow the lab on 🦋🦋🦋 ! Happily retweeting new preprint: @Paul_Chammas postdoc paper @MRC_LMS , teasing apart Dux vs MERVL in the 2C-like state. Not all 2C-like cells are created equal....
Happy to share our latest #preprint showcasing the work done during my postdoc in the lab of @MPercharde at the @MRC_LMS. We used CRISPRa to disentangle the close relationship between Dux and MERVL elements in the induction of the 2-cell like state. https://t.co/F40Vfn6KVR (1/8)

SPA = single particle analysis? @champneys
Weekend spa hotel report: I can’t help but notice design parallels with modern #cryoem microscopes, in this ‘Cryo therapy treatment’ device I found on site. I doubt CRYOACTION is trade marked, @thermosciEMSpec @JEOLEUROPE in case you like the look.

Very cool findings for a role for LINE1 in human ESCs from @MRSantosLab . Remarkable to have partial similarities to its role in 🐭
📣Sharing the latest research from the @MRSantosLab, just released on bioRxiv! We found LINE1 RNA promotes nuclear compartmentalization to repress the 8-cell state in human embryonic stem cells. https://t.co/uE06Xx3QcY 👇Key findings:

Our new work is out today! Long time in the oven, this has been a really fun and informative collaboration led by Dhanur Iyer in my lab and @HK_Heidar from @NRivron lab. We show that human embryonic cells have an inherent potential to regulate their developmental timing.
