Interesting ads regarding reforming Medicare Advantage payments. Addressing overpayment of MA plans (upcoding) = cutting Medicare? @ASALifeline has directly lobbied Congress to rein in MA plan overpayment and use the $billions to fix Medicare payments for physician services.
The group Medicare Advantage Majority started running this new paid digital ad on YouTube today. It's being geotargeted at over 2K zip codes - and appears to be running in specific Congressional Districts. Here are the districts that appear to be targeted:

ASA has joined 75 national medical organizations to urge Senate leaders to include Medicare physician payment provisions from the House-passed One Big Beautiful Bill in the Senate version. The letter was co-led by ASA with @AANSNeuro and @AAOSAdvocacy.

AANA on Capitol Hill this week. Nurses lobbying on two scope of practice bills and one funding request. 3rd year in a row w/ not a word about economic sustainability of practices. NOTHING about commercial insurers squeezing groups or unreasonably low Medicare payments. Sigh.
