An important reminder for interviewers looking to become #traumainformed: you are not there to evaluate the level of trauma, you are there to help the interviewee tell their truth in spite of it. https://t.co/3690bTDiEo

This hour of waiting for @netflix #LOVEISBLINDreunion live stream to load will somehow be spun as their “highest engagement on social” metrics for years to come

Cardiologist: “based on your symptoms, you really need to have this test done” Insurance: “No, we don’t think you do based on our written guidelines” Ok then. Cool. Cool.

Rebooked to an earlier flight showing 3pm departure still happening. Pay $200+ fare difference. Check in for new flight and it’s immediately showing delayed by several hours, almost to my original flight departure. If they know that, shouldn’t they have said that at booking?

Sitting at the salon while my color processes and the girl next to me just told her stylist she wants her hair “like Jennifer Aniston in friends…with the long bangs!” We’ve come full circle.

Kids want to tell you about their lives. They really do. Like, really. They want you to listen, to take interest, and to make comments about what they say. Do that. #RelationshipsMatter

Let’s be clear. Lawmakers in Indiana—or anywhere else—who introduce or support legislation based on pure misinformation and fear mongering are an embarrassment to the legislative process. You know who you are. 1/3
A bill in the Indiana Senate would reiterate that schools are allowed to enforce dress codes to prevent students from dressing as furries.

Any conference speaker ever had a clause in an event agreement saying you’re responsible for finding your own speaker replacement if you can’t deliver your session? Seems a bit risky to the conference organizers but ok…

Disappointed in @amazon decision to stop the #amazonsmile program. As a non profit exec with an org that has benefited greatly from this additional support mechanism that was a win/win for all, the reasoning and shift they claim to be heading towards now is a big loss

Lying to get to the truth is counterproductive. Obtaining actionable (truthful) intelligence requires a transparent, strategic and humanistic approach. We can’t expect trust in #LE with a practice of deception.
Why Police Shouldn’t be Allowed to Lie to Suspects by Dr. Saul Kassin, @JohnJayResearch w/contributions from @Stu_Greer, @DThompsonWZ, @andytgriff, M. Jones, J. Trainum, S. Kleinman & me: “Trust must be restored between police and the public served.” https://t.co/rmHYyxmPce

"Support" can mean a lot of things. For the @Fight4LifeFound team, it means showing up in whatever way strengthens our relationships and builds trust with our partners and clients. (1/4)

Most days it’s paperwork and programming. But some days you get to be elves & help pack the sleigh to give deserving scholars a holiday experience they’ll never forget. Love the work we get the privilege of doing at Fight For Life Foundation. Thanks to our volunteers & partners

Came out of Target to this. I understand giant pick up trucks are hard to maneuver but tell me this wasn’t intentional. I hope he has the day he deserves.

Who lets this guy keep talking? He’s not helping himself. Would love to see @ScottRouse3 and @behaviorpanel get in on this
Full interview. Watch the absolute squirming at 1:37 and 3:55 when pressed on stealing customer deposits. Shook. https://t.co/pwdfawUkJj

The irony of sitting in the waiting room 45+ minutes past your appointment time & watching them turn away a patient with an infant and making her reschedule to mid-January for being 10 minutes past her appointment time
