The bill is welcome news for the Delta-8 industry, which has been advocating for state lawmakers to set guardrails on Delta-8 products to make sure they remain legal while also keeping them away from minors & increasing testing requirements to help ensure consumer safety. #wthr.

The Indiana House & Senate have both passed a bill to regulate Delta-8 following last year's #WTHR investigations exposing widespread testing, regulatory & enforcement problems. Lawmakers must now sort out differences between the House & Senate versions.

Indiana's House passed Senate Bill 478 to regulate Delta-8, and one of the bill's main sponsors is optimistic the legislation will be signed into law.
