Olivia Nuzzi is objectively a disgrace to the profession but at least some of the outrage should be directed to Vanity Fair’s new editor Mark Guiducci, who is averaging a scandal a month a few months in and hasn’t gotten nearly enough negative attention for it

If this is true ?? She should have been fired and never rehired. I have higher standards for journalists. You should too. It’s a privilege to be entrusted by the public.

To state the obvious, the dignity, clear-eyed frankness, and attention to craft in Tatiana Schlossberg’s essay provides a really valuable contrast to the sloppy, careless, attention-crazed scribbling of the desperate Nuzzi and Lizza.

It sort of strains credulity that Condé Nast leadership was caught off guard by a second instances of the exact same behavior she’d already demonstrated…

Sorry for earnest posting but I find Olivia Nuzzi’s return nauseating. A gossipmonger with no ethical compass does not deserve a book deal or VF job, esp in light of the thousands of reporters who have been cast aside from the field without any such stains on their career.

It’s difficult to find words to express how our unit is feeling right now, but we’ll take a stab at it: shocked, disappointed, angry. @CascadePBSNews’ choice to eliminate long-form written reporting is a massive loss for our community in a critical moment.

The suspension of @jimmykimmel and the promise to silence other Late Night hosts for criticizing the administration should disturb everyone on the Right, Left, and Center.  It’s wrong and anyone with a conscience knows it’s wrong.
