My dad was all about ๐Christmas magic๐ to the point where he sang Christmas songs all year round. ๐ He loved, loved, loved Christmas. I miss him all the time, but especially this time of year.
I feel like dads not caring about ๐Christmas magic๐ is a new phenomenon bc it was always the dads showing off with Christmas lights and picking the perfect tree to chop down. Using Clark Griswold as a caricature of what dads used to be even though I donโt like him

Just realized the book Belle's reading at the beginning of "Beauty and the Beast" has some pretty glaring pacing issues. The heroine meets Prince Charming and doesn't discover that it's him till Chapter 3 but that feels more like a midpoint plot beat to me, tbh #writingcommunity
