The number of 5000 Hamas terrorists killed is given by American General, not only Israel. While Hamas and PIJ terrorists are 50000 ~ 2% of the papulation, they are about 25%-30% of the dead. Israel definitely targets Hamas. They just hide behind civilians.

I think that pictures give a better explanation. The highlighted parts are what is left and we know that it belongs to the Temple. There could be more parts that weren't explored because Israel doesn't administer the Temple Mount

There will be a necessity to review the case of a tunnel under civilian infrastructure. Because Hamas intentionally build them that way. Leaving Israel bombing as the only option without getting into Gaza. Getting into Gaza is even worse in terms of human casualties.
