Israelis view applying US law to them as a sanction because they’ve been conditioned to believe (a) there’s an Israel exception to all laws, & (b) seeking to hold Israel to the SAME STANDARD (laws) as other countries can ONLY be motivated by rank antisemitism & anti-Israel animus
It’s not a sanction. It’s application of the Leahy Law, which prohibits US aid to units of foreign security forces if there is credible info they committed a gross violation of human rights. This is a first

Utterly surreal. At this point it is impossible to read this post as anything other than an explicit rejection & repudiation of the very idea that Palestinian in Gaza are humans and as such enjoy human rights - in other words, an embrace of the Israeli govt approach to Gaza.
Human rights belong to everyone.
