It was great to be a part of this event. Today’s middle school students are tomorrow’s judges, attorneys, and law enforcement officers. 👨⚖️🧑💼👮♀️ Our communities need the best & brightest from the next generation to explore careers in public service. Appreciate the invite!
8th graders from @LPSorg’s Pound Middle School spent a day with us and were able to learn about the responsibilities of the Lancaster Co. Attorney's Office, heard from Chief Deputy Public Defender Paul Cooney, @NEJudicial Judge Ryan Post, and Capt. John Vik from @LSONebraska!

📚 Kicking off February in-service training with Sheriff Wagner’s State of the Office Address. Our Training Unit has a full day on tap from de-escalation to CPR to 911 Center Updates. LSO deputies attend in-service training monthly and consistently exceed state requirements.
