There has been some excellent research on the 'King's Own' Ethiopian expedition of 1868. I was lucky enough to be invited to see some of the collection a few months ago. The redisplay will shine a light on Lancaster's and Britain's colonial and imperial history.

Key point. The most consequential measure in this election reform package is automatic voter registration - not because more will vote but because constituency boundaries will shift as a result - crudely more low registration inner city seats/fewer leafy high registration ones.

As there’s a lot of ”Think Tanks” being posted in the media I thought I’d do a little thread on three of them. They are all located in Tufton Street and this is basic information. You will find anywhere on the web. They all have apparently nice sounding names that will make.

I’d say that with this article Boris Johnson has completely lost his mind, except that we all know that happened some time ago.

When you compare UK growth to other big economies since 2010 then it makes 15 years of Conservative government all the more surprising and Labour's recent struggles less so.

Given that Zarah Sultana voted for this bill enabling the recall of MPs who swap party affiliation, presumably we can look forward to a Coventry South by-election in the near future?.

Whilst this may not be the view of a majority it will likely be the view that a large number will hold and so is useful in helping understand some of the appeal and tactics of Reform and others sympathetic to their cause.

“I heard you want your country back. Ha. Shut the f*** up” angrily yells Vylan, fresh from calling for “death to the IDF”, to a chanting crowd of white middle-class British liberals excitedly waving their foreign flags. All rather depressing, isn’t it?. I note the intense border.

Reopening a 3.3-mile train line to Portishead from Bristol took 79,187 pages of planning documents. Printed out, that’s 14.6 miles of paperwork - 4.5 times the length of the actual railway. The process has taken 16 years.
