To say we are disappointed in our captain, for comments he has made in support of shamed footballer David Goodwillie, is an understatement. This is why EDI initiatives in football are important & why we're here to educate, so this becomes less common #swfc
Very disappointed that our captain has decided to come out in what appears to be vocal support of someone not only lost a civil case which concluded he r*ped a woman, but then declared himself bankrupt so he didnβt have to pay the compensation. Iβm glad no club will touch him.

Good luck to our American friends @ProudOwlsOMA, the LGBTQ+ supporters' group of @Union_Omaha, who are celebrating their Pride Night today. Our former #swfc @swfc group was called Proud Owls, so we're delighted that the name is now helping to tackle discrimination in US football.
