Not going to delve into another less than incisive report from BBC Education but I will say that universities should be mindful of equating online learning with primarily acquisitional teaching methods.

Users input workload demands on students as they design and @LDtool calculates the overall workload - which is predictably higher than teachers anticipate it will be! It take a long time for students to read an article or take part in an online discussion!
