Required reading. Bubble are actually good, the only way to lay the foundation for the future. It’s easy to say there are obvious non-winners in retrospect and in bubbles there is absolutely misallocated capital but it’s all part of progress. Almost every winner was an obvious.
Digressing a bit from this point but I don’t think we *hate* Silicon Valley enough. Every few years they blow an insane amount of money on things that obviously arent going to work at ridiculous multiples. Some big winners come out of every cycle but everyone calls out the.

PG out here mixing in the talk track of the 90/00s punk rock middle schoolers. Only I know the unique and obscure artists, the rest of you are posers.

I always considered myself a 99th percentile griller. My wife’s friend married a Brazilian guy in San Diego and he had about a dozen Brazilian friends. I eventually became close enough friends with him to get a “barbecue” invite. We showed up around 6 and they were already.
If there’s one thing Americans don’t understand, it’s drinking beer with friends on a patio as someone grills.

I have a great solution, touch grass.
I’m a (very) patriotic guy, and 4th of July always one of my favorite holidays. This year feels different, though. Just sad at what we’ve lost. Feels permanent (or essentially so), even as both sides of the political spectrum fall deeper and deeper into magical thinking.
