Have you been affected by the widespread bank outages today? 😣 It's not currently clear how this will impact people in the long run. But if you do incur any costs due to missed payments, it's best to err on the side of caution. (1/2) 👇

@InclusiveBuild There are no jobs. But this is not really about work at all. It’s about collapsing the welfare state & tearing up the social contract. It costs even less when ‘unproductive’ disabled people are dead. Dead people don’t claim benefits…#Eugenics

Readers shared stories of being pushed out of work in their fifties and sixties, describing age discrimination, financial hardship and wasted experience in a labour market that still undervalues...

The Centre for Social Justice, policy supplier to this Labour government as it was to the Tories before them, has published a report called 'Midlife Mission' where it lays out a '50+ employment strategy', including unpaid work placements and a 'National Work and Health Service'

Today’s global app outage may have affected the DWP. 'The DWP has not reported any issues so far, but Amazon Web Service's hybrid cloud services are responsible for all the department's hosting requirements.’ If payments are late, contact DWP helpline. https://t.co/Lm60PFFC6E

🚨#HateCrime in any form is utterly unacceptable. Yet, we’re seeing a surge of vile online and community attacks lately. Here’s a vital @CitizensAdvice guide on how to report and seek help via the Hate Crime Support Service👇🏼 Please share widely

A hate crime support service can support you whether you want to report it to the police or not. Our advice can help you understand the process, so it doesn’t feel so daunting ⤵️ https://t.co/ljlK24LFjX

Have you switched bank account while on Universal Credit? If so how did it go? I've had one report that UC make it tricky when you're giving them the new bank info. I wanted to check whether this was isolated incident or is more widespread.

Once again for those at the back; Disabled People’s Organisations who collude with the DWP are not your friends. DPAC; never bought. Remember that! 😉

My suicidal thinking wasn’t depression - it was my ADHD  When the support for ADHD is already severely lacking - how can Labour possibly think there's an overdiagnosis crisis? @charliclement_ take a personal look at the state of neurodivergent care. https://t.co/YKHAOk7WKG
