Yeah this makes sense. Most people these days haven't really interacted with babies all that much. You have like one sibling maybe and you're usually too young to remember any of the babyness. And so your latent instinctive desire to have one isn't activated or whatever.

I'm glad that when I was asocial I was humble. Me being as arrogant as I am now and as socially clueless as I was then would have been disastrous. I was kinda endearing and innocent then so I got away with no social ostracism for being weird and high achieving academically.

I have definitely been posting better for the last couple of weeks. Probably the result of joblessness. Or limiting Twitter use to stop being bombarded with stupid people's opinions. After I go to college we can tell which it is. Or perhaps the JEE grind was uniquely rough on me.

This is not a problem in Europe where indoors are hotter than outdoors due to heat trapping architecture. You're just pushing heat stuck inside out at a small cost.

Zoning sounds so strange to me. So you separate shops, businesses, SFHs and apartments? For what gain? What actual problems are solved by this? This sounds fake. So you're saying people actually move to neighborhoods with no corner stores or restaurants or clothes stores nearby?.

What are you talking about? You might be mostly right though if you add in micronutrients and the like. You don’t actually need to plan your diet much unless you have some weird illness.
Yep. People have an entirely backwards view of what “good food” is. The only thing which really matters is calories in, and calories out. You need to minimize calories in so that you’re not fat. That’s it.

I remember reading about how the GOI in its infinite wisdom kneecapped TISCO by imposing tomnage limits on it because they wanted the steel sector to be government controlled. They couldn't even have pulled a trick like this around a hard cap on tonnage. I hate socialism so much.
Yet, Kawasaki Steel's founder was denied capital to start a new integrated steel works, but tapped the World Bank and ultimately became a large, and arguably the technological leader of Japan's burgeoning industry.

Spreading false information is bad. But doing so via price signals is fine with me. Disciplines dumb money and gives better long term outcomes.

SEBI was wrong to do this. Punishing momentum traders who add no new information is a fine and fair way to make money. Trading based only on price signals is perverse in its self reference. Adversarial strategies are fine

They use advanced tactics like IP theft and throwing wasteful amounts of momey at the problem to secure dominance. The West should punish them for IP theft terribly. The tariffs would be a good retaliation if phrased that way.
