Of course people have addressed this. The answer is that you treat people as individuals, not as members of groups, and you don't form a bizarre inverse of the left by adopting white, or "heritage American" or whatever, identity politics. Yes, this is an easily predictable
This take is delusional. These âalt-right racistsâ are the vast majority of young right-wingers that the establishment right/libertarians refused to address since 2015. 10 years later, McArdle and friends still have not engaged with any critical questions regarding group

Who's gonna tell him why the US was aiding Stalin?
If you are upset that Tucker Carlson gave an interview favorable towards Stalin, wait until you learn about Lend-Lease where FDR gave Stalin 32 billion rounds of rifle ammo, 8 million bombs, 400,000 trucks, 12,000 armored vehicles, 7,000 aircraft, and 11,000 railroad cars.

Anti-Israel people on X just lie and lie, they never acknowledge it when you pointed out and it doesnât seem to bother their followers at all. Itâs like a nasty religious cult.
@AlanRMacLeod No itâs not. There is no civil marriage in Israel, a legacy of ottoman law. But you can get married by a judge in Utah online or go abroad and get married or a sign a civil contract if youâre gay. And not only donât you go to jail which you would if it were illegal Like you say,

it will hurt Israel, and that is their current obsession, and they aren't going to let their "principles" about racism, sexism, nativism, and so on, or even their specific hatred of Naziism, get in the way. /end

Why aren't they screaming "we were right" from the rooftops? And I'm afraid the answer is, at best, that they are enjoying watching the American conservative movement implode. And at worst, they are happy the antisemites are coming out of woodwork because they think that 2/

There's a noticeable dearth of commentary on the left about Carlson-Fuentes-gate. Shouldn't this be their big moment in the sun? They have been claiming for decades that if you scratch the surface of American right, you will fight racists, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis. 1/

LOL at the right-wingers who think that making US participation in WWII against the Nazis a bad thing is a politically (much less morally) viable position. Agreeing that Stalin was bad and that FDR was extremely naive in how he dealt with Stalin in a way that was detrimental to
âWorld War II was not a crusade against the Nazis but a crusade against the West. In half a lifetime, many Americans have seen their God dethroned, their heroes defiled, their culture polluted, their values assaulted, their country invaded, and themselves demonized as extremists

Q. Why did people conclude that Pat Buchanan is antisemitic? A. Below
@MattWalshBlog Most notoriously, before the first Gulf War, he wrote that there were only two groups "beating the drums for the war in the Mideast," and that was the Israeli Defense Ministry and its "amen corner" in the United States, and then you went on to say later that "kids with names like

Mamdani has a a lot in common with Obama, politically speaking. in particular, his supporters seem quite eager to ignore what he actually says and does, and instead project their hopes on to him, in part because somehow being from an unusual non-white background somehow makes him

(To be clear, I'm not criticizing individuals at Heritage who have been working on antisemitsm, like Virginia Coates, who I know are sincere. The question is not their individual sincerity, but Heritage's institutional sincerity.) /end

It's not enough to be against antisemitism when you are only against it when the "other side" is engaged in it. That seems like political opportunism (and much of the left has become notorious for only criticizing antisemitism from the right). The test for truly being against
Just some of the good work the Heritage Foundation has done in the last two years to combat antisemitism.

@gracecamille_ If you think Zionism has anything to do with "white supremacy," saying that you are an ignorant fool would be a gross understatement. 1/

It does seem that way, which is odd to me because I was barely aware of his existence, and that's what other right-leaning people of my generation have told me, too.
It really does seem like Charlie was the glue holding everything together on the right. The way things have played out since his assassination is exactly what our enemies hoped would happen. Itâs incredibly disheartening.

I am bit puzzled by the Scott Adams thing. Assumedly, he's quite wealthy. While no one wants to pay for an expensive procedure out of pocket that one thinks should be covered by one's insurance, if it's really a matter of life or death, why is he waiting for Kaiser approval?
I wish the Republicans cared as much as working Americansâ health care as much as they care about a celebrity with $20 million to his name.

I know I have a lot of non-Jewish friends and followers who have expressed great concern about the recent rise of antisemitism in the US. If you are one of them, and are on the conservative end of the political spectrum, NOW, I mean RIGHT NOW, is the time to speak up.

(1) Yes. Explanation: From the evidence I have seen, Buchanan wasn't personally bigoted against Jewish acquaintances, but had a political ideology that was, in part, based on hostility to Jewish people as a group. So, was he "prejudiced" against individual Jews? Apparently, not.
@DamonLinker Please tell me what you think: 1) Is Pat Buchanan is an antisemite? 2) If not, isn't writing a book accusing him of being one a terrible blunder? 3) The more one cares about antisemitism, the more seriously one must take laying that charge on someone?

The executive director of The American Conservative wants you to know that the "absolute nadir" of William F. Buckley's career is when he hemmed and hawed for tens of thousands of words but reluctantly concluded that a few members of the conservative movement hated Jews.
