Looks like a close call in Ellicott City tonight as torrential downpours passed through the area … radar does show heaviest rain pushing to its east now.

The first radio interview I ever secured as a communications professional was with Jacob @wamu885. I always thought about that every time I heard his voice come through the radio! An important voice for the environment in our region. This makes me very sad. 😞
I was one of the journalists laid of at @wamu885 today. I've had a great time covering local environmental issues in D.C. for the past 7ish years, plus 5 more years producing and reporting audio at the station.
