Actually Bell came down as Bubba came up. If Bell doesn’t diamond down he would have just be side drafter by the 23 but would’ve likely got the lead going into 3
I try to be pretty objective on these things, but I’m not seeing the whole “bubba door slammed Bell” thing here. Looking at the trajectory of the nose of the 20. You can index it with the seam and the black stripe on the 20s lip. Racing incident.

This is not a good take in my opinion, all of that may be true Denny but isn’t a top 2-5 finish still okay? It looks like this to me; my car, my money, I’ll do what I want because I can. 23XI didn’t NEED that with all the other stuff going on. The optics look horrible here.
Give me a break. I was off the gas and on the brakes 100yds before the 23 let off. I was turning as hard as I could given the aero situation. 11 team deserved that race. It didn’t work out.

Unsportsmanlike conduct revokes provisional or removes you from playoffs whichever applies. 675 is the number to qualify for the playoffs. Reset points to 700 per playoff driver add playoff points, finish the season. @KevinHarvick @DaleJr @dennyhamlin @colepearn @Tjmajors @NASCAR

All playoff drivers will run a 10 race chase to the finish, no more elimination rounds. 10 playoff points for each win before start of playoffs, no playoff points accumulated during the playoffs, stage and bonus points apply during playoffs.

If you maintain a provisional after 23 races, then you must accumulate a total of 84 points during races 24-26, that is a 12th place overall finish, and a win turns your provisional ticket into a qualifying ticket.

If you have a provisional ticket you must accumulate 108 points, averaging a 14th place finish during races 21-23 to maintain your provisional ticket, OR, if you win a race during this time your provisional turns into a qualifying ticket to the playoffs.

Make everyone qualify for the playoffs like this: Races 1-20 you need to accumulate 480 points, that is a 16th place avg finish, that gives you a provisional ticket. 3+ wins during the first 20 races automatically qualifies you for the playoffs.
It’s not unfair. Everyone is under the same rules with the same opportunities to win. Go get it done. Winning is all that matters and that’s what this system highlights.
