It’s a busy week of elections here. Today was our local by-election for local government. The ballot box will have its own boat to collect it at 10pm which is the case in all elections. Tomorrow it’s Knoydart Foundation AGM and voting for 3 new directors. #democracy

Missing hillwalker, Ian Currie was walking from Glenfinnan to Knoydart and failed to show up at the bunkhouse. If anyone who walked the route has any info please contact the police.

Here’s #myroute i’m taking in #Scotland. Next branch Thurso. I’m flying to #Orkney from #Shetland - main reason i was so sick last time for the entire 7.5 hr crossing. I was dreading it. I’m a terrible sailor and even get seasick on the knoydart ferry which is 30 mins.

I couldn’t find the square cake tins and was in a rush - we now have round brownie. It feels so wrong & yet looks exactly as it should except for round! Its ok as i cut into a large square eating the off cuts “for testing purposes”.

Robin (age 5) has just given us a copy of her second book! ❤️ A year after she published SHARKMANIA! Robin has donated an exclusive first edition of VAMPIRE HOUSE RUSH to the library! Thank you Robin 🧛♀️🧛��️📚
One of our favourite things is when authors give us copies of their books so we were delighted when a very little girl called Robin gave us this copy of a book she had made. SHARKMANIA! was published in an exclusive edition of 1 and is available to read in the library now! 🦈
