It's Tuesday night and it's 11.30pm so it's time for a very SPECIAL summer episode of 'How light is it in #Orkney at 11.30pm this week?'. Remember back in January when it was dark by 4pm? Well now it's July, it's nearly midnight and it is absolutely THIS light! 💡

At Warehouse Buildings in Stromness we also have 1 of the 38 small Bookbenches on the trail - designed by the children of the Hope Community School in #Orkney. Both benches are here all summer so come and visit! You can find out more about the trail at: .

Every bench on the trail is a different design, and this one is inspired by the novel The Silver Darlings by Neil Gunn. The shoals of fish are made using recycled mirrors and fused glass. The bench was designed by Shelagh Swanson and sponsored by @PentlandFerries.

LOOK AT OUR BEAUTIFUL BOOKBENCH! ❤️. It's 1 of 41 large Bookbenches (and 38 small Bookbenches) waiting to be discovered in a public art trail created by @BookBenchTrail in support of @ClanNow which supports people impacted by a cancer diagnosis across the North East of Scotland.

We have an announcement. It's #midsummer in #Orkney. It's June. It is LITERALLY summer. Our balls are wet.
