A day off work today, so went down to Splash Point,Seaford early morning for the Pied Wheatear. Showed very well on a few occasions. A first for me.

First Redshank on the new @Conningbrook Wetland today+2 Green Sandpipers, hopefully it’s a good stop off for many waders over the coming months. Worth a look if you’re passing,there is easy access at anytime, just park at the top of Leveret Lane and view from the grass verge.

Lovely cold & crisp morning around the hoverport area at Pegwell Bay. Second time lucky with the two Twite this week around the western undercliff , thanks to the finder @shrikefinder @KentishPlover

Some highlights of a long but enjoyable day trip to @WWTSlimbridge from Kent today.

Glad to see the Little Owl at Naccolt today, no sign since early April. 1 Cuckoo is still around and a Hobby hunting which takes my overall patch year list to 109 already matching last years total. @KentishPlover

The elusive White-crowned Sparrow after a 3 hour wait, feeding on seed for a couple of minutes @BirdGuides

5 Wheatears now gathered in the railway field(Kennington)near the crossing this morning. Garden Warbler,Cuckoo & Common Sandpiper are new arrivals to @Conningbrook also Willow & Reed Warblers, Yellow Wagtail and plenty of Swallows/House Martins & Whitethroats @KentishPlover

Managed to get a short clip of this Nightingale in song this morning in the Wet Woodland at Naccolt/Hinxhill. 1 of 3 found with @KeithPrivett1 yesterday. @KentishPlover
