We will be running a consultation on this in the very near future, so please watch this space. In the interim, the reserve, toilets and car park will remain open as usual. Access to the reserve will be through the gates in the car park. (2/3)

This coming Sunday (12th Jan) will see our shop close for the final time at 4pm The Visitor Centre will remain closed whilst we determine what the future of this building looks like and how we can utilise this space and opportunity to showcase the very best of this reserve. (1/3)

A busy week with internal RSPB contractors creating footdrains throughout areas of grassland on-site to move water through this important habitat. This is part of the ongoing project in Flood to create a wet, rushy, reedy habitat. 2 out of 3 so far! #wardeningwednesday

The latest phase of the New Excavations Uplift Project is complete! The contractors are in the process of demobilising the pontoon over the next day or two. This project has created over 34 islands on New Excavations and Dengemarsh #wardenwednesday #speciesrecoveryprogramme

Thursday 3rd October will see the team clearing willows along the western bank of Burrowes by Firth Lookout and the Visitor Centre. Some of the team will be out on New Excavations collecting in the tern decoys. Sorry for any inconvenience
