Nearly everyday I speak with people who have recreated their lives. They have overcome horrendous experiences and still show up with compassion to serve others. Compassion and unity is what creates long term change. Hate and division is unsustainable because itβs never stable βπΌ

"We are locking mentally ill people into a cell & leaving them alone. I just think it's wrong. I think people looking at it (in the future) will think 'oh my goodness, surely we didn't do that'." For that not to be our future we need to do something now.

Brilliant, we all need to understand that trauma makes you very vulnerable to manipulation. From child exploitation all the way through to ideology, and everything in between!

Again James, the wisest of wordsβ¦continually trying (and failing) to treat the symptoms diverts attention and resources from trying to cure the illness
βItβs a violence problemβ The knife is a symptom of deeper seated troubles at the individual and cultural level. If there was no access to knives, the violence problem would still exist! Ps. You will not punish your way out it either. America has shown us that!

We go to work and pay our taxβs to give all children the best start in life, but we end paying a large chunk of our wage so strangers can look after our children during the most formative years of their lives! No wonder this culture is stressed out its box !!!
