Yesterday we had a member of the Dog Unit S/Constable Wood assisting at the Kennels with the exercise and care of police dogs. Our SCs on the Dog Unit support handlers by crewing directly with them operationally as well as supporting the Police Kennel Staff with peak demand -CF

Yesterday PD KIT alongside Handler PC Bowman and S/Sergeant Frost @KentSpecials deployed to Newington following reports of an RTC where a suspected drink driver had fled the scene. There was no hiding from PD KIT - 1 Male now in custody for drink driving and other offences -CF

Vehicle stolen from @WMPolice on 02/03. Tracker picked it up driving in #Welling on 27/03. @MPSRTPC South Traffic Units got behind the 🚗 and implemented a Box tactic to stop the vehicle. Thank you to PD Boss @KPTacOps🐕for your help! Driver arrested! #CommunityCrimeFighting

PD Boris joined the Unit as a puppy almost 6 years ago and has assisted with apprehending numerous suspects, locating vulnerable people, and sniffing out vital evidence/property items. He has proved himself to be a valuable asset who will be greatly missed. Maybe not by everyone!

PD Boris is due to retire this week after a successful career with Kent Police. Just a few weeks ago, his handler had a pursuit with a vehicle in #Iwade. The driver tried to run, but PD Boris showed he's still got it & he detained the male who was arrested for several offences.

(2/2) PD Eggsy, a 4-year-old spaniel, is trained to find forensic evidence and locate victims on land and in water. "Being a dog handler can be very difficult, but it is by far best role I have worked in Kent Police, permanently being crewed with your two best friends." #IWD2025

PD Boss & his handler had a pursuit with a stolen Landrover last night in @KentPoliceMed. The driver thought he could beat PD Boss in a foot race and ran, but failed miserably. 🏃‍♂️🐕 The driver has been arrested for several offences & and remains in custody. CAD 18-1449 refers. DC

PD Biggy successfully detained a male this morning who was found hiding up a tree. The male is suspected to be linked to a motorbike theft in the #Snodland area and ran away from officers. He has been arrested for several offences with 2 stolen bikes recovered. 31-0089 refers. DC

PD Bear deployed to #Appledore last night to assist with a search for a male who ran off following multiple assaults and threats. After extensive area search lasting over 45 minutes, PD Bear located the suspect hiding in undergrowth and was safely arrested. CAD 24-1462 refers. DC

PD Bo and handler deployed to assist locating a male in mental health crisis in #Canterbury. A fantastic track through an open woodland led officers to the male who was thankfully unharmed. A great result with the male now receiving the support he needs. CAD 05-0257 refers. DC

PD Kit and his handler deployed to assist in searching for a male suffering with dementia in #Sheerness. After a search of the area, the male was located after he had fallen between a car and some bushes. An excellent job locating a vulnerable person. CAD 06-1295 refers. DC

A total of 21 charges were authorised and persons remanded #CrossBorderCrime 🚔

#ProactiveTargetingTeam2 stopped this stolen, cloned vehicle in Paddock Wood linked to persons wanted for various offences. 3 occupants arrested in connection with a series of burglaries committed in both Kent and other counties.
