#ARREST | A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident in Yardley. We were called yesterday after a boy reported being assaulted in Yardley Park. A man in his 40s has now been arrested and is in custody while our enquiries continue.

We have now partially re-opened Bristol Street southbound to allow traffic to turn left down Essex Street. Bristol Street remains shut between Essex Street and Bromsgrove Street while our investigation continues.

UPDATE: We've made a fourth arrest this morning. A man aged 32 is in custody on suspicion of attempted murder, and the investigation continues.
