We can provide advice and representation at school exclusion panels and meetings. We accept self-referrals  and referrals from professionals. Parents may feel apprehensive when asked to attend appeals and meetings alone. Our advocates will support you !

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve put down my ‘tools’ and attended some external events in Birmingham, London & Manchester. I’ve forgotten how important it is to step away from the day to day and tune into the frequency of change around you. If you have done it lately, do it!

I appreciate all of these Windrush commemorations, events and all. Yet, I find myself thinking about how paradoxical it is for all these councils and organisations to be pouring all this money into these events, when apparently only 12.8% of claimants have been reimbursed.

The ‘learning’ bit is easy…it’s the unlearning, that’s where the work is!

We can often major on leading change, but talk less so about the internal change that’s leading us…I don’t think we can do the former well without a real engagement and reflection on what’s happening on the inside.
