This man did not look in depth at the very frequent misinformation by those global media. The journalists don't care about Ethiopia but about sensational, dramaric stories without context. Really, CNN, NYT, Daily Tel. & even The Economist were duplicitous.

@BronwynBruton @afitz3105 @CNN @USEmbassyAddis @CrisisGroup But accusing foreign journalists of being part of some vast conspiracy to return the TPLF to power is either woefully naive about the world or mendacious. It also puts correspondents at genuine risk 3/3

On the terrible attack of TPLF on Ethiopian federal troops on 4 Nov. 2020... A testimony on the unprovoked horrors. I wrote on this in my March 2021 working paper. Why this hatred?

@NeaminZeleke @jeffpropulsion @PowerUSAID The US has lost it completely. What is more easy & obvious to do than pressurize the TPLF to stop their war & cruelty & econ. devastation in Amhara & Afar Regions & go back to Tigray? There is no fighting in Tigray. The US stopping hum. aid to pressure the Eth. Govt. is immoral.

This video confirms the horrific truth about the slaughter in Mai Kadra on which honest observers reported over two years ago. A return to the 'status quo ante' of the region illegally annexed in 1991 would be adding insult to injury.

We will never forget the #MaikadraMassacre on Amharas that the @hrw and @amnesty chose to downplay and ignore so they can paint the Amhara victims of ethnic cleansing and genocide as the perpetrators of ethnic cleansing in Welkait. Over 1600 Amhara civilians in Mai Kadra, Welkait

@SecBlinken @StateDept Holy mackerel, 1 mln. And that with bad content and a sadly lacking State Dept. performance, especially on Ethiopia.. If you now change policy & would choose the side of justice & decency and would support the legitimate govt. of Ethiopia, you'll easily go to 2 mln in no time.

@RedwanHussien Finally a powerful & perceptive statement by GoE, and correct.. Those foreign diplomats failed in their duty. TPLF is really a sad outfit, long past expiry date. It will not deliver in any 'talks'. Total personnel overhaul needed in Tigray Region.
