https://t.co/fnNKN24FbO - Bill would cut 22 senators from Legislature Go further. Why not a total of 20-22 state senators and 50-60 state reps? Seems like plenty to me- independent commission develops several non-gerrymandered options, voters approve. Revisit every 20-25 yrs.

Pretty much every time Hegseth talks, I think I think of this lyric from The Wanderer: āā¦I went out walking, with a bible and a gun, the word of God lay heavy on my heart, I was sure I was the oneā¦ā The song is as awesome as Hegsethās version of Christianity is terrible
Hegseth: "May almighty God continue to bless our troops in this fight. To the American people, please pray for them every day on bended knee with your family, in your schools, in your churches, in the name of Jesus Christ."

Yup. I really do wonder what the last few years wouldāve been like if they had actually sealed the deal and won that Natty that was right there for the taking.
Bob Motzko not going after Canadian juniors which was a new world for this college hockey season made little sense & it burned him. Need someone young & not necessarily connected to the program which means getting away from the 90% of the roster must be Minnesotans mentality.

Certainly not the first politician to āsomehowā gain great wealth while in office, nor is it limited to one party. It is a pox on our entire system tho- and should be called out whenever and wherever it happens.
His wealth went up from $2.8-9M to $29-97M while in office and the key steps were (a) selling his family plumbing business to a donor for $25-50M and (b) a series of apparently well-timed stock trades.

Pretty sure a turnover is a turnover is a turnover- regardless of conference. What a sloppy mess of futility.
Hopefully this paves the way for the #TWolves to move to the East.

True. Also true that I donāt know if it even cracks the Top 10 delusional dumbassery moments for him
@JohnEngstrom1 Asking for help from the countries youāve spent a year š©ing on is a special kind of delusional dumbassery.

Prisoners of Geography, by Tim Marshall, is a great book. I remember reading it and constantly thinking- I never thought of that, like that, before. And thatās coming from an amateur and self-appointed geography geek.
Geography favors Iran in any war to open Hormuz. The shipping lanes are so narrow tankers and Naval escorts are sitting ducks. Perfect for Iranās drones and mines. Trump is caught in the Escalation Trap ā doubling down only makes things worse

I donāt know how itās going- but I know that this admin has made lying into an art form, and I am willing to bet my life that we were in no danger of an imminent attack from Iran, and it looks like we killed a bunch of school kids on the 1st day. Accidentally, but incompetent.
From @WSJFreeEx via @WSJOpinion: Check in on every major outlet and youāll get the same message about the Iran war: Itās going poorly, getting worse and never should have started in the first place, writes @MattHennessey. https://t.co/9NA8oWMkNg

Hegseth is Fredo. For the sake of our troops- I hope this all magically, mystically, mysteriously works out. If it does, it will be in spite of, not because of, Hegseth.

Just listened to the recent news conference. He is, quite literally, a child. What an embarrassment. Praying for our troops in harms way, and for the day Hegseth and his ilk are nowhere near positions of power and authority.
I hope the first thing this task force does is inform Pete Hegseth about what happens in the war colleges he's never attended - or apparently, even visited - because all this stuff isn't it. He has no idea what he's talking about here, but that's no surprise.

The saddest part is that āā¦completely untethered to truth,ā as applied to Trump, is also an understatement of the year nominee.
Weāve never, ever had this before. A President completely untethered to truth. I mean completely untethered to truth. Thatās such a bad thing. But you know whatās even worse? Way, way too many people donāt care. And way too much of the media no longer cares.

Agreed. Embarrassing does apply to a MN based menās bb team - but it aināt the Gophers.
Absolutely nothing about this team this year is embarrassing. They fought their hearts out every single game. Played with 6 guys a huge part of the season. āEmbarrassingā is the last word weād ever use to describe this team.

I like the coaching staff, like the individual players, like their upside potential- and still find them to be unwatchable for long stretches. Hoping for another deep run, but increasingly doubtful. Will take sustained focus and guts- Wolves have neither.
Finch pulls the starters with 3:55 to play and a game tomorrow against the Clippers. I think this was probably the most disappointing performance of their season.

So weāre at the famous Princess Bride quote stage of the conflict. FWIW- Wesley didnāt survive because Vizzini chose the wrong glass, he survived because of advanced planning (built up a tolerance). Planning for multiple contingencies (like mining the Strait) what a concept.
"Never start a bombing campaign that will completely halt shipping in the Strait of Hormuz" is right up there with "never get involved in a land war in Asiaā in terms of the classic blunders.

Exactly. Of course our men and women serving in the military are awesome, and of course our prayers are for their safety. Iām still waiting for a coherent rationale for why- exactly and precisely- they are in this position. Iran 2 weeks from attacking us? Bullshit
You can love your country and love your military and 100% believe that neither of them should be fighting undeclared wars with no strategy, objective, or end-date. Remember Vietnam? Remember Afghanistan? Remember Iraq?

Iām sure either the DOGE bros or Nick Shirley will be all over this
