SHOCK the vast majority of people simply do not harbour the hate that right-wing stink tanks are peddling.
It is a FUN run you absolute dweebs, just let people enjoy themselves.

Incase you thought the Labour outrage over that
@TheGreenParty
post was anything other hypocrisy in response to them haemorrhaging support over their stance on a ceasefire, here’s a thread of their MPs and supporters doing the same thing they’re now criticising.
A thread 🧵
Yet another betrayal after six years of broken promises by successive Tory governments.
If we win the next general election,
@UKLabour
will introduce a full, trans-inclusive ban on conversion therapy.
This is homophobia pure and simple.
Anyone still cheering on or aligning with George Galloway is no friend of the LGBTQ+ community and shouldn’t be considered a progressive in any shape or form.
@DailyMirror
Alastair Campbell not just publicising a voting record but actually encouraging people who have Tory MPs to “find out where they are” at a weekend “and make sure they know what you think of what happened”.
If you have a Tory MP, find out where they are this weekend and make sure they know what you think of what happened today. Especially if you voted for them because you believed they were serious about levelling up. This nonsense can be changed but only if those MPs go back 1/2
Keir Starmer, the leader of the opposition, also (rightly) criticising Tory MPs for voting against extending free school meals over half term.
He even - let this sink in - retweets a
@DailyMirror
front page that ✨Lists Every Tory MP That Voted Against.✨
@DailyMirror
The main Labour Party account (rightly) shaming 248 Tory MPs for voting to “give the green light to corruption” and providing a link where people can go see exactly which MPs.
The hypocrisy is pungent.
The Conservatives have failed to protect trans people from hate crime or abusive conversion practices.
Labour is determined to ensure they feel safe and protected, including by:
- banning conversion practices outright
- toughening sentences for anti-LGBT+ hate crimes
#TDOV
Telling an MP that they’ll only receive help tackling domestic abuse/violence if they vote to keep children in poverty is a new low for Starmer’s Labour.
I’m appalled; truly heinous.
Alastair Campbell again.
This time doing that “nastiness” he was criticising on Sky News by listing every Labour MP who abstained or voted against a People’s Vote on Brexit.
The Tories are finished. Good.
But gifting Labour carte blanche with a majority this big isn’t healthy.
We need a strong team of
@TheGreenParty
MPs to drag a Starmer government back from its increasingly right-ward movement.

Let’s call the Cass Review exactly what it is… a crock of biased, unevidenced quackery.
Any party backing its recommendations are deeply irresponsible, inflicting needless pain and worry onto young trans people and endorsing some really shitty stereotypes of boys and girls.
The Cass Review must be a watershed moment for the NHS’s gender identity services.
My response for
@UKLabour
underlining our support for the Cass Review’s evidence-led recommendations and our determination to put children’s health and wellbeing above the political fray 👇🏻
Saying there's no difference between Starmer and Sunak, and Labour can't lose so it's safe to vote Green/independent, is the ultimate in luxury belief campaigning.
Today's column on the anti-Starmer left.
If you were ever on the fence about the LGB Alliance, they have literally said that “all the LGBTQ+ organisations around the country are essentially now homophobic”.
Just think about how utterly ludicrous and offensive that is for a minute…
and then get off the fence.
Just spent the most fantastic afternoon campaigning with
@RosieDuffield1
and
@Feargal_Sharkey
in Whitstable - let’s end the sewage, let’s elect a Labour Government and Rosie Duffield to do it! So much support from Whitstable people, thank you!
Shock as Party whose code of conduct explicitly addresses transphobia then expels members for signing transphobic declarations.
If you don’t like that, cool, join a party that will accommodate your hate.
Exclusive: The Scottish Greens have expelled a number of members who declared "sex is a biological reality".
An official complaint accused them of making the party less safe for trans and non-binary members.
Last night Parliament had the opportunity to vote to support a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza.
Sadly, the Labour party is in chaos and is failing to deliver what constituents are demanding.
Is your MP on the list?
#CeasefireNowInGaza
I hope Brighton Pavilion and Bristol Central at least feel proud that their MPs weren’t cowed into voting to keep children in poverty.
Choice well made 💚
We now have a minister for ‘common sense’ but not a minister for disabled people.
What a loud and ridiculous way to say you don’t value the experiences and needs of a quarter of the UK population.
Grateful to

The Green Party in Bristol refused to rule out expanding the Clean Air Zone on

What are the Green Party’s plans to extend the Clean Air Zone?
Which areas will be included?

Voters deserve to know.
If you want Green, you have to vote Green.
Today
@friends_earth

@greenpeaceuk
have released their assessments of the party manifestos & the results show the Green Party has the strongest fully costed policies for the environment.
Incredibly insensitive phrasing in response to a post celebrating Jewish representation in politics.
Labour are in the gutter right now and the only joke here is Joshua and his colleagues thinking they have any moral high ground whatsoever.
🙄 I assume Tom’s blaming the one Green MP because he’s unaware Labour already have 198 MPs & are (apparently) in official opposition.
🛢️ He’s right about one thing though, Labour could stop Rishi if Starmer committed to revoking the Rosebank licenses.
🥀 He won’t.
#BlameLabour
🥀 Labour just confirmed they have zero interest in the Isle of Wight East seat, demanding activists there actually travel off Island to help in Itchen (rather than West Wight).
💚 If you want the Tories out in East Wight, the only credible vote is Green.

Angela Rayner (rightly) naming and shaming Tory MP and the then Children’s Minister, Vicky Ford, for voting “against free school meals for hungry children”.
Not far-right bigots & bots salivating over fake news that Sam Smith fell into a crowd after a failed stage dive when it’s actually just a video of some random American dude dressed as a ninja turtle.
Sam lives rent free in the heads of the very worst people and I’m here for it.
Patrick Harvie ran up a £1,766 bill on travel and subsistence for a two-day conference in Copenhagen after he opted to travel by train, which involved four days of travel and two overnight stays in Belgium.
Will all the Labour people currently levelling personal attacks on the calibre of people joining the
@TheGreenParty
just look at themselves in the mirror for a moment.
🚆 I want to uncritically boost this good & correct messaging but I can’t whilst the party *currently* opposes a vital piece of infrastructure for unlocking existing lines and generating modal shift.
💚 I urge members to take a more pragmatic approach on HS2 via conference.
🛤️ Rail networks across Europe have been systematically shrunk by governments according to a new report.

Two things.
1. Really feel for

It’s going to be very embarrassing for Joshua when he realises 3 out of 4 Green Cllrs voted AGAINST REFUSAL of the solar farm whilst 3 out of 4 Labour Cllrs voted FOR REFUSAL.
I’ve never been so appalled by and ashamed of my party as I am right now.
Voting - led by speeches from prominent party exec members - to block a motion that would see action taken on sexual harassment/abuse and cover-ups.
Disgusting.
I’m hanging in by a thread.
💚 Always proud to see Green leaders, like
@carla_denyer
, demonstrating the party’s unwavering support for a ceasefire, the unconditional release of all hostages and the right for people to peacefully demonstrate this.
“You could say that actually Armistice Day is a very appropriate day for people to be calling for a ceasefire, an armistice, so that civilians in Israel and Gaza can be protected.”
The “vast majority” of pro-Palestine protestors have “good intentions” says
@carla_denyer
.
Imagine thinking your the party of LGBT+ equality whilst making a statement that implies a conflict between trans rights and women’s rights.
Labour is the party of platitudes and broken promises.
I know these policies will not please everyone.
But as the party of LGBT+ equality, Labour will lead on reform of transgender rights.
And as the party of women's equality, we will stand by the protections for women that Labour - not the Conservatives - introduced.
Sadiq Khan with a graphic (rightly) demonstrating all the Tories that voted against his plans to “protect affordable homes” and are therefore “making the housing crisis worse”.
He even specifically singles out and names his then political opponent, Zac Goldsmith.
😑 Labour MPs seemingly falling over themselves to broadcast how tragically cruel and uninspiring they’ll be in government.
💚 It’s now more important than ever that we get more Green MPs elected to drag a Labour government in a kinder, less Tory-lite direction.
‘We cannot make unfunded spending commitments’
Shadow Work & Pensions Secretary Jonathan Ashworth says Labour will ‘not be changing’ its new policy to keep the two-child cap on benefits if it gets into government
A sad day but completely understandable.
Hopefully a wake up call to those with the means in
@TheGreenParty
that we need to get a move on kicking bigots out the party.
🚨 Breaking 🚨

Do you not think your messaging is a little dismissive of the brilliant women already in the party?
Do you also not find your position a little disingenuous or rich, seeing as your currently the only solo candidate not standing on a joint ticket with a woman?

Hey Newport West (IOW),
It’s official, a by-election’s been called for our ward on the Isle of Wight Council.
I’m already a Community Cllr for Newport West and I would love to represent my people on the IOW Council too!
So on the 12th Dec, vote Green & vote Joe Lever ✌🏻
📬 Latest lot of leaflets went out around Gunville today!
🗳 Lots of residents telling me they’re “sick of the Conservatives” and voting Green; many for the first time. They see us as the only viable alternative. I agree!
The Green Party Executive has removed Shahrar Ali from his role as party spokesperson for breaches of the Speakers’ Code of Conduct. This decision has no impact on Dr Ali’s membership of the party.
I wish President Biden well and thank him for his many years of public service.
This cannot have been an easy decision for him. But to take a decision that is personally difficult, but that is in the public interest, is a true sign of leadership.
🚨 NEW: Wes Streeting has called for women's "sex-based rights" to be "protected", saying "gender-critical" women have been "written off as bigots".
The Shadow Health Secretary claims there are "tensions" between women's "sex-based rights" and trans rights.

The patronising hubris of Labour/centrist types to think Green members should be taking their ‘advice’ on internal GPEW matters is laughable.
Jog on, Tom.

Former Conservative minister and MP Dr Dan Poulter has quit his party to join Labour. He tells

he believes that Keir Starmer can be trusted to run public services
Still waiting for Labour Twitter to be as outraged about Tories supporting Labour in Stockport, as they were about Tories supporting Greens in Lancaster.
The insincerity in their faux outrage is quite something.
💚 My first (in-person) taste of
@TheGreenParty
conference was overwhelmingly positive.
⚡️ Inspiring speeches and a feeling of belonging - of community - whilst passing great policy together have left me feeling energised and hopeful.
✌🏻 Thank you, Brighton.
Obviously the group that’s been around for 5 mins and who’s online following is full of bots and bigoted straight cis dudes gets to talk sh*t about organisations that have fiercely campaigned for LGBTQ+ rights for decades.
Cool.
Tom pinning the collapse of public services on a single Green MP instead of 14 years of Tory austerity (with Labour in opposition) shows you just what a deeply unserious and bad faith person he is, just like his leader.
Cannot wait to see Sian Berry elected on the 4th July.
I’ve lived here for 25 years. This really is my home city.
Brighton has had a Green MP for 14 years - a good person - but meanwhile our public services have collapsed.
We’ve had rudderless Green Councils who have delivered nothing but neglect. No Net Zero plan. No decarbonised
Joe Lever (
@JoeLever89
) for Carisbrooke & Gunville ward.
“I believe so many Island communities are being overlooked and let down by the current administration. I want to offer residents of Carisbrooke & Gunville a compassionate and competent alternative.”
Just putting it out there that - contrary to some of the replies - not all Greens want to cancel an already half-built rail line.
A lot of us actually quite like improving public transport and the societal and environmental benefits it brings.
Gender Critical views directly contradict and undermine Green Party policy. A local party shouldn’t be welcoming them in this manner. If you want to say stupid shit like this, leave and start your own party where bigotry is respected.
Perhaps
@SkyNews
(or any other journos) would like to follow up with Mr Campbell regarding at least two previous occasions where he encouraged people to “find out where they [Tory MPs] are” at a weekend and “let them know what you think”?

As a Green I’m really disappointed to see someone I - and many others - admire in our party, uncritically share content like this.
There’s a reason it’s controversial and often branded eco-fascism.
