I still don’t have words for what happened to my family today. My brother in law, his wife and my two nieces were rescued by the pure mettle and unconditional love that is their father, who fearlessly drove south while they were under siege by Hamas terrorists to rescue them.

החיילים שהגיעו בסוף גיבורים. הצילו אותנו. חמישה מחבלים חיכו להם.
והכי גיבור אבא שלי שהגיע במיוחד מתל אביב, הוביל את הכוח לבית ועזר להרוג את הרעים.

My first experience in a bomb shelter in Tel Aviv: We woke up my 1 yr old niece to rush to downstairs, and sang rounds and rounds of her favorite, “the ring of fire” by Johnny Cash. I could feel the booms in the bottom of my spine.
